Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a Senior Director of Data & Analytics to lead the firm's global data and analytics organization and own the enterprise data strategy.

You will set the multi-year vision for data estate, lead architecture, engineering, governance, analytics, data science, and ML engineering, and ensure secure, scalable, and cost-efficient data platforms delivering trusted data products and AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering, analytics, data science, or related tech disciplines with cloud experience.
• 5+ years of senior leadership managing multidisciplinary data/analytics/engineering teams.
• Expertise in data architecture, lakehouse platforms, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data and analytics strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities.
• Oversee data architecture, engineering, governance, analytics, data science, and lakehouse platforms.
• Own Databricks and Azure lakehouse architecture, security, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Establish enterprise data standards for integration, modeling, quality, metadata, lineage, and compliance.
• Direct ML engineering and MLOps to move models from development to production.
• Enable analytics and AI through trusted data products and governed services.
• Lead vendor management, platform optimization, and technical debt reduction.
• Translate technical priorities into measurable business value with business leaders.
• Manage budgets, resources, risks, and executive reporting across data org.
• Lead a global high-performing team across regions and time zones.
