Job summary

NewsBreak is seeking a Head of Content & Supply in Mountain View to own the supply side for ReelBee. You will manage catalog scale, negotiate terms, and build a robust supplier network across the US and China, guiding content strategy and creator partnerships with data-driven decisions.

The role requires deep experience in short drama and digital video, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin, with a focus on scalable, globally aware content operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in short drama or digital video with 2+ years in content acquisition or strategy.
• Established China-side supply network with studios or rights holders.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin with ability to read US audience data.
• Strong negotiation and deal-structuring skills across buyout, MG and rev-share.

Responsibilities

• Own the content supply strategy across PGC, AI studios, overseas catalogs and US creators.
• Define selection criteria and tagging taxonomy; build a data-driven scoring system calibrated by performance data.
• Build and manage 50+ supplier and rights-holder relationships; lead negotiations and contracts.
• Lead content operations, supplier BD and creator relations for the platform.
• Track US/China/global trends and publish actionable insights for internal teams.
