Job summary

NewsBreak in the US Bay Area is hiring a Content Operations & Curation specialist (Senior Specialist / Lead) to review, tag, test, and optimize titles for ReelBee. You will work across Mountain View and Beijing, using data to drive decisions and coordinating with US partners.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in content operations, fluency in English and Mandarin, and strong Excel/BI skills with AI tool experience to boost efficiency. This role offers a high-throughput, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of content operations, editorial, review or title-selection experience on a short-drama, web-fiction, short-video or content platform.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin; able to review English-language series and subtitles and communicate with US partners.
• Proficient with AI tools (LLM summarization/tagging, AI subtitles, AI voice detection) to raise efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review and tag 40–60 new titles weekly; verify AI-extracted tags and judge quality and compliance.
• Manage the weekly test queue; track 72-hour scorecards and recommend titles to move to scale.
• Run post-launch operations for winning titles and build a playbook of what works.
• Send performance reports to content partners weekly and collect feedback.
• Support supply BD with sample evaluation and trial-batch review; maintain catalog metadata quality.
• Track industry charts and publish a weekly genre and hit-title brief.
