Job summary

CME Group is seeking an experienced Executive Director, Compensation to lead our global compensation function, driving the strategy, design, governance and execution of base pay, annual bonus and equity programs for our global workforce.

This role partners with senior leadership to ensure competitive pay practices, oversees a compensation team, and translates data into actionable insights that attract, retain and motivate top talent.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience in a global organization
• 5+ years leading a compensation function/team
• Executive compensation experience with a U.S. public company preferred

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements competitive pay strategies
• Directs administration of base pay, bonus and equity programs
• Leads governance, compliance and communications for compensation initiatives
• Mentors and manages compensation team members
• Provides guidance on pay practices to leadership and HR partners
• Oversees market analytics and cost modelling for pay decisions
