Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a transformative Senior Director of Security Engineering to lead a worldwide security organization protecting Slack and the AI-powered Agentforce platform.

You'll build end-to-end security for the agentic era, drive identity, platform defense, and incident response, and partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to keep Slack and Salesforce secure as AI agents scale across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in cybersecurity across multiple domains.
• 8+ years in senior leadership roles managing managers.
• Proven track record transforming enterprise security programs.
• Deep crisis management and incident response experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Technical degree required.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end security vision and roadmap for Slack.
• Lead global security engineering teams and talent.
• Act as Incident Commander for major security incidents.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance.
• Establish security as a design-first discipline in SDLC.
