Job summary

HP is seeking a PageWide Industrial Hardware Planning Analyst to ensure press hardware, compute systems, upgrades, and third‑party components are available to support worldwide manufacturing, customer installations, and installed-base commitments.

The role translates demand and program schedules into executable supply plans, coordinating across procurement, manufacturing, inventory control, logistics, engineering, program management, regional operations, sales, and services.

Qualifications

• Strong supply chain fundamentals and planning experience.
• Experience with MRP, demand and supply balancing.
• Analytical skills with KPI interpretation and risk assessment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Excel and Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Demand and supply planning: Balance forecasted and actual demand against supply; identify shortages, aging inventory, and material risks; prioritize backlog.
• Hardware availability and installation readiness: Align hardware availability with build and installation schedules; coordinate changes with stakeholders.
• Order and procurement execution: Create and monitor planned orders, requisitions, POs, and subcontract orders.
• Inventory management and control: Monitor value, location, aging, excess; support targets and cycle counts.
• Cross-functional coordination: Act as planning focal point across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, and sales.
• Data analysis and reporting: Analyze forecasts, backlog, shortages, and KPI trends; provide executive summaries.
• Product and BOM change management: Monitor configuration changes affecting planning signals and disclosure.
• Process improvement: Simplify workflows, improve data quality, and develop reporting tools.
