HP Inc. is seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager to lead assembly and fabrication supplier engagements in high complexity manufacturing.

You will drive strategic sourcing, negotiate complex agreements, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and finance teams to align supplier strategies with product requirements. The role emphasizes building strong supplier relationships, managing risk, and optimizing costs while ensuring long-term supply stability for HP’s PageWide Industrial Print

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain management within high complexity fabrication and assembly.
• Experience negotiating and developing contractual agreements.
• Ability to build and sustain supplier partnerships across diverse organizations.
• Clear communication skills to collaborate and influence across stakeholders.
• Significant experience in procurement or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Relationship Management: build trust-based partnerships with fabricators, contract manufacturers, and third-party equipment partners.
• Supplier Identification & Qualification: identify, assess, onboard new suppliers aligned with objectives.
• Strategic Contract Negotiations: lead complex pricing, terms, IP protection, capacity, and supply commitments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align supplier strategies with engineering, quality, supply chain, and finance.
• Risk Mitigation & Continuity Planning: address supply-chain risks like capacity, lead-time, and geopolitics.
• Cost Optimization & Value Creation: develop procurement strategies balancing cost, quality, and stability.
• Market & Supplier Intelligence: monitor fabrication and contract manufacturing landscapes and trends.
• Supplier Performance Oversight: track performance with metrics, scorecards, and continuous improvement.
