Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is building a Global AI & Knowledge Innovation Office (GAIKO) to enable governed citizen development across the enterprise. The Governed Innovation Leader will define the end‑to‑end operating model, permissions framework, and templates, partnering with business units, IT, risk, and security to scale a safe, observable ecosystem.

The role focuses on establishing standards, training paths, and a viable path from pilot to production, aligning tools and review thresholds with risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years in innovation programs, technology enablement, citizen‑development/governance, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to run requirements gathering with business stakeholders and translate needs into process or platform design.
• Credible with both technical and non‑technical BU audiences; capable of standing up new programs or capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design the governed‑innovation operating model end to end, including roles, review thresholds, and tool tiers.
• Engage with BU leaders to understand needs and translate them into environment designs and services.
• Define permission frameworks, data access boundaries, tool tiers, and review requirements for use cases.
• Create templates and reusable assets to support governance, templates, and documentation standards.
• Own the requirements roadmap as the capability scales across environments, training, and sponsorship.
• Establish observability; ensure governance visibility across builds and assets.
