Job summary

Nomura seeks an experienced Deputy Program Lead to oversee a large-scale Global General Ledger implementation (SAP or Oracle). You will coordinate with the COO, manage internal and external teams, and ensure milestones, risks, and governance are effectively handled.

The role requires senior stakeholder management, strong communication, and a hands-on approach in a fast-moving, enterprise environment. This is a contract-for-services engagement managed with third parties.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of project/program management in enterprise-wide transformations.
• Experience with ERP/General Ledger implementations, especially SAP or Oracle.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and senior internal stakeholders.
• Strong executive presence and ability to work with C-suite and senior leadership.
• Experience with project plans, risks, dependencies, governance, and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the COO to plan, coordinate, and execute the Global General Ledger implementation.
• Serve as a central point of coordination across internal stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and implementation partners, ensuring deliverables and timelines.
• Coordinate activities across Finance, Operations, Technology, and other functions.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, action items, and deliverables.
• Track risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies with escalation when needed.
• Prepare updates, status reports, and executive-level communications.
• Facilitate project meetings with clear decisions, owners, and deadlines.
• Support governance activities and provide visibility into status and vendor performance.
• Identify roadblocks and drive resolution across teams.
