Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Supply Manager (Gas Turbine Power Sourcing) to lead strategic sourcing for critical turbine and related equipment in support of production, test and launch operations at Starbase, TX. You will develop supplier relationships, drive cost reduction and ensure on-time delivery in a high-demand, high-visibility environment.

You will manage contracts, coordinate with engineering, facilities and legal, implement KPI-driven performance programs, and lead negotiations with OEMs

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 4+ years in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in the same domains is acceptable.
• Total experience: 10+ years in procurement, contracting or supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Create sourcing strategies to reduce risk and meet purchasing targets.
• Develop and maintain internal stakeholder relationships for strategic sourcing.
• Present to decision makers on launch-critical events.
• Drive compliance to category strategies and supplier terms.
• Identify and execute cost-reduction projects with stakeholders.
• Perform quantitative analyses to assess financial impact and cost improvements.
• Define SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and monitor performance.
• Create contracts with the legal department and manage supplier performance.
