Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Supply Manager for Gas Turbine Power Sourcing to lead sourcing strategies across turbine-related categories and drive cost reductions. This role requires deep procurement and engineering interfacing, with responsibility for supplier performance, contract management, and strategic negotiations to ensure continuous supply for critical manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or bachelor’s degree with extensive related experience.
• Experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management.
• Ten years or more of experience in one or more of the listed qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Create sourcing strategies for assigned categories to reduce risk and meet targets for the purchasing department.
• Develop and maintain internal stakeholder relationships to optimize value and drive continuous cost reductions.
• Present to decision makers on launch critical response events.
• Drive compliance to category strategies and manage supplier KPIs.
• Identify and execute cost reduction projects with stakeholders and track progress.
• Perform quantitative analyses to assess financial impacts and cost improvements.
• Define SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and monitor performance.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, and supplier analysis.
• Collaborate with legal to create contract documents and manage contract obligations.
• Drive supplier negotiations to maximize value and reduce risk.
• Lead efforts to reduce transactions and improve procurement efficiency.
