Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Worldwide Technical Leader to own the global technical direction for the Games sub-industry within the MEGS organization. You will coordinate with business leadership to translate strategy into community action across a global Technical Field Community (TFC).

You will lead through influence, prioritize game-use cases, and drive reusable technical content while representing AWS at major industry events and growing next-gen games specialists across the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• 10+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, systems, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end roadmaps guiding IT transformations toward cloud computing.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including training, workshops, publications.
• Experience with Unity, Unreal, CryEngine, Lumberyard or similar game engines, or equivalent games industry tech.

Responsibilities

• Own the global technical direction for the Games community, aligning field insights to strategy and prioritizing use cases.
• Serve as the technical voice to AWS service teams, gathering customer pain points and translating into roadmap input.
• Drive creation and scaling of reusable artifacts: solutions, reference architectures, guidance packages.
• Represent AWS at major games events (GDC, Gamescom, re:Invent) and engage with executive stakeholders.
• Grow games expertise by mentoring architects and packaging customer engagements into repeatable solutions.
