Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Worldwide Technical Leader to drive the global technical direction for the Games sub-industry within the MEGS organization in the United States.

You will act as the industry domain strategist, coordinating with business leadership to translate strategy into community action across a global Technical Field Community. You will lead through influence, prioritizing use cases, organizing builders for reusable solutions, and representing AWS at major games events

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, systems, security, data)
• Experience evangelising end-to-end roadmaps for IT transformations toward cloud computing
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level

Responsibilities

• Own the global technical direction for the Games community, aligning field insights to strategy, prioritizing use cases and customer needs
• Gather customer pain points, trends and competitive intelligence, translating into product/roadmap inputs
• Create and scale reusable artifacts - solutions, workshops, reference architectures, guidance packages
• Lead AWS presence at major games events (GDC, Gamescom, re:Invent), deliver sessions with executives
• Grow games expertise by mentoring solutions architects and packaging engagements into repeatable architectures
