Job summary

Citi in Irving, Texas seeks an experienced Applications Support professional to provide on-site coverage for a mission-critical FX trading platform. You will troubleshoot, monitor, and support the full FX trade life cycle across pricing, settlement, and regulatory reporting, coordinating with global colleagues.

The role requires strong SQL, UNIX, and Python skills, familiarity with cloud and DevOps concepts, and the ability to work under pressure during market hours.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Oracle SQL/Sybase and ad hoc query building.
• Working knowledge of UNIX environments and shell scripting.
• Hands-on FX/trading system support experience in a global context.
• Exposure to Cloud technologies, DevOps tools, and AI concepts.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide user support for a mission-critical FX trading system used by desks.
• Support FX trade life cycle flows: pricing, matching, settlement, reporting.
• Perform start-of-day checks and continuous monitoring with regional handovers.
• Contribute to releases, post-release checks, and disaster recovery testing.
• Create and maintain technical support documentation and tooling.
