Job summary

State Street is seeking a senior operations leader to design and govern an end-to-end risk and quality program for a strategic client. You will own reviews, drive action plans, and partner with client teams, global colleagues, and IT to enhance controls and operational effectiveness.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication with C-suite audiences, workshop facilitation, and the ability to manage timelines across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services leadership engaging senior leaders throughout the organization.
• Navigate a large global organization and build meaningful relationships.
• Work successfully in a matrixed environment and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous assessment of operating model effectiveness for the client focusing on Fund Accounting/Back Office controls and NAV impact.
• Identify, recommend and implement approved control enhancement opportunities.
• Perform root-cause analysis, trend analysis, and monitor remedial actions for persistent issues.
• Deploy a distributed model with protocols embedded across global functions.
• Project management of operational risk mitigation initiatives as needed.
• Define schedule of risk reviews and engagement with client and operational teams.
• Demonstrate impact and effectiveness of the Quality Control function.
• Be based in an existing State Street location and attend the office as required.
• Manage workshops and review sessions to analyze end-to-end process and control framework.
• Directly accountable for work production, deliverables and client sentiment.
• Evaluate current process against market standards and identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in Fund Accounting Management Team and align with global leads on reviews outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and escalation procedures.
• Develop the wider team with guidance and opportunities.
