Job summary

State Street Investment Management in Boston seeks a senior analyst to coordinate across risk disciplines and support governance and reporting for a multi-trillion-dollar asset base. You will ensure policy compliance, prepare client and regulatory materials, and drive data quality initiatives across risk domains.

The role requires influencing teams, managing multiple programs, and communicating with stakeholders while supporting sustainable investing disclosures and governance best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, information systems, or related field; MBA, CFA or FRM preferred.
• Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience with solid working knowledge of investment management or finance; risk governance a plus.
• PowerPoint, Excel, and Word proficient; experience with Tableau, SharePoint, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall Enterprise Risk Management program and framework of Investment Management and State Street.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with corporate policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Lead and manage responses to DDQs and RFPs from prospects and clients.
• Develop regulatory and client presentations reflecting risks of the State Street IM business.
• Oversee data governance tools inventory and ensure robust risk framework.
• Support data quality governance and BCBS 239 requirements with data inventories and checks.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Governance and Risk Technology to design data lineage and DQ rules.
• Coordinate with risk asset class leads to design data quality rules for effective controls.
• Maintain data quality dashboards for timely resolution and reporting.
• Represent State Street IM Risk in governance forums and provide training on governance requirements.
