Job summary

State Street Corporation is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead a functional team and ensure reliable day-to-day service delivery for custody and fund accounting operations.

You will be the primary contact for operational issues, coordinate the rollout of new funds and systems, mentor staff, and drive process improvements across the Shared Services organization. You will also support compliance reviews and audits and help in client-related projects.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a BS degree in Finance, Business or related field.
• At least 5 years of related Custody and/or Fund Accounting experience, part of which must have been in a management or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Account for day-to-day management of a functional team and supervise service delivery.
• Primary contact and escalation point for operational issues and provide technical expertise to resolve problems.
• Coordinate the implementation of new funds, systems and processes; assist with client conversions and projects.
• Organize internal meetings, document agendas, notes and action items; support practice development.
• Identify and implement consistent operational best practices and assist with compliance/fiduciary reviews and audits.
• Train, develop and motivate staff; conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching.
• Serve on committees and help implement new company initiatives.
