Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Functional Architect to provide design leadership for Project Portfolio Management capabilities. You will translate business requirements into coherent functional designs and guide delivery across design, build, testing, and deployment, ensuring alignment with the Global Target Operating Model.

The role requires 12+ years of relevant experience, strong stakeholder management, and experience with Oracle Fusion PPM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 12+ years relevant experience.
• Strong functional expertise within Project Portfolio Management processes and Oracle Fusion PPM.
• Proven ability to assess business impacts and design scalable enterprise solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate approved business requirements and process designs into detailed functional solution designs.
• Define functional rules, business logic, process flows, data requirements, and solution behaviours.
• Ensure functional solutions align to enterprise process standards and target operating models.
• Identify opportunities for simplification, standardisation, and reuse across regions and business functions.
• Act as the functional design authority for assigned business capabilities and Oracle Fusion modules.
• Provide expert guidance on Oracle capability and solution options.
• Assess impacts, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs of design decisions.
• Ensure process implications across end-to-end process landscape are considered.
• Partner with Global Process Owners/Leads to align with the Global Target Operating Model.
• Support design governance forums and decision-making processes.
• Provide functional leadership through design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilisation.
