Functional Architect, Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing

Overview
Functional Architect responsible for leading client workshops, translating business requirements into a functional design, and configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing to meet client needs. Acts as SME and primary client contact to optimize manufacturing processes within the Oracle Cloud platform.
Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis: Lead client workshops and interviews to gather and analyze business requirements related to manufacturing processes, including discrete, process, and mixed‑mode manufacturing, production scheduling, and shop floor control.
- Solution Design & Configuration: Translate business requirements into a functional design document. Architect and configure the Oracle Manufacturing Cloud application to meet client needs, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Advisory & Strategy: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on best‑in‑class manufacturing processes and how to optimize their use of the Oracle Cloud platform.
- Implementation Leadership: Guide the technical team in the development of customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies. Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go‑live activities.
- Sales & Presales Support: Assist in presales activities, including the preparation of proposals, statements of work, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior functional consultants, helping them grow their expertise in Oracle Fusion Manufacturing.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Oracle applications, with at least 3 years focused on implementing and configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of core manufacturing processes, including Work Execution and Production Management; BOM and Routings; Work Definition and Production Scheduling; Costing and Work Order Processing.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
- Preferred Qualifications: Oracle Cloud implementation certifications, specifically in Manufacturing Cloud; experience with other Oracle SCM Cloud modules (Inventory, Planning); experience with integrations to ERP and PLM systems.
