Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive capacity expansion for our Global Fulfillment network. You will convert PORs into execution plans, coordinate across Capacity Planning, Engineering, Procurement, and field teams, and own a subset of a growing portfolio of projects from conception to launch.

You will lead cross-functional alignment, manage milestones, mitigate risks, and report progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of program or project management experience.
• 6+ years of leading large complex programs experience.
• 6+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience.
• 6+ years of communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences experience.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment.
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (pivot tables, charts, lookups, etc).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management for a portfolio of fulfillment center projects from POR approval through design, construction, automation deployment, and launch.
• Drive cross-functional coordination and stakeholder alignment across 6+ partner organizations and leadership reviews.
• Manage schedule integrity across the portfolio and coordinate with vendors on milestones and First Access details.
• Identify, elevate, and mitigate risks impacting project schedules and escalate when needed.
• Report program status to Senior Leadership and planning/execution teams with dashboards and inputs.
• Improve PMO processes, tools, and scalable delivery approaches for consistent results.
• Mentor and develop program managers, participate in hiring and performance reviews.
