Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, or transportation operations.
• Experience coordinating international air and/or ocean freight shipments.
• Knowledge of international shipping documentation, freight forwarding procedures, and transportation regulations.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills and data management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international air and ocean freight shipments, working with overseas agents, carriers, and providers.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, invoices, etc.).
• Monitor shipments, provide tracking updates, address delays or issues.
• Respond to customer inquiries, provide freight quotes, and communicate throughout shipping process.
• Maintain shipment records and update Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company procedures.
• Review daily reports, identify discrepancies, and resolve shipment-related issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, and partners.
• Identify operational risks and assist in regulatory compliance.
• Prioritize multiple shipments and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and service.
