Job summary

PGL is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder/Logistics Specialist to support international shipments from origin to delivery. You will work with cross-functional teams to plan routes, secure carrier space, and ensure timely updates for key customers.

Responsibilities include processing documentation, coordinating with agents, and maintaining accurate cost records. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of international freight forwarding experience.
• Knowledge of transportation by air, rail, sea, or road and associated costs.
• Familiarity with end-to-end shipment processing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Select shipment routes based on goods, transit times, and security needs.
• Coordinate space on ships, aircraft, trains, or trucks to optimize costs.
• Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading and packing lists.
• Communicate with customers and external agents; provide updates on shipment status.
• Maintain accurate records and cost accruals in the ERP system.
