Job summary

PGL (Perimeter Global Logistics) is seeking a Freight Forwarding Specialist to manage shipments, prepare essential documents, and coordinate with carriers and clients. You will analyze routes, track cargo, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering timely status updates.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years in freight forwarding and familiarity with trade regulations; AOG experience and hazmat knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of freight forwarding experience with exposure to shipments and documentation.
• AOG experience is a plus and hazmat certification is desirable.
• Knowledge of customs, regulations, and transport documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Calculate shipping costs and determine efficient routing options.
• Coordinate shipping activities with carriers, exporters, and customers.
• Prepare contracts, transactions, and regulatory documentation.
• Verify shipping documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Track orders and shipments; provide status updates to clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
