Job summary

TRAK Group in Hamilton, OH seeks an experienced Freight Coordinator to manage domestic and international transportation activities. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, manage carrier relationships, ensure import/export compliance, and identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency while reducing freight costs.

The role requires strong logistics experience, knowledge of global trade regulations, and proficiency with ERP and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating domestic and international freight transportation.
• Knowledge of air, ocean, import/export, and domestic transportation processes.
• Understanding of U.S. and international trade regulations.
• Experience with freight carriers, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Ability to prepare and maintain shipping and import/export documentation.
• Experience developing cost-saving transportation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments using domestic and international transportation methods.
• Manage freight movements across air, ocean, truckload (FTL), LTL, and other modes.
• Track and trace shipments and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PLs.
• Monitor carrier performance for service standards and compliance.
• Develop freight estimates and rates to support suppliers and opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate shipments and reduce costs.
• Maintain transportation records in SAP and TMS.
• Provide operational support to warehouse shipping and receiving teams.
• Prepare export/import documentation and ensure compliance.
