thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. is seeking a Freight Coordinator to manage international and domestic shipments and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role involves coordinating with service providers, tracking shipments, and optimizing costs through consolidated methods. Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Management or Supply Chain, strong ERP/SAP knowledge, and experience with air/ocean and import/export operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• Experience with air, ocean, import/export operations.
• Knowledge of DOT, customs, TSA, and other import/export regulations.
• Knowledge of global trade rules and commodity classifications.
• Experience with SAP ERP and Transportation Management Systems.
• Understanding of hazardous materials and DOT certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments via all modes.
• Track and trace shipments and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor transportation performance and carrier compliance.
• Provide freight rates for new components and acquisitions.
• Update Transportation Management System (SAP) as needed.
• Prepare export/import documentation and Denied Party Screening.
• Support Finished Goods team and shipping/receiving supervisor.
• Travel as needed and maintain strong customer relationships.
