Job summary

ArcBest in Chicago seeks a Global Forwarding Executive to prospect, develop, and secure new international freight forwarding client relationships, building a profitable portfolio. The role focuses on acquiring new customers and managing mid-size accounts across ocean and air modes.

You will work with International Pricing, Sales, and Operations to tailor proposals, present solutions, and grow monthly business.

Qualifications

• 5 years of sales experience in global forwarding or related international logistics.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current and legal driver’s license to operate motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new international freight forwarding opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of mid-size import/export accounts.
• Collaborate with International Pricing and Operations to tailor proposals.
• Travel to visit customers as needed.
• Maintain accurate territory accounts and reports.
