Job summary

ArcBest is seeking a Global Forwarding Executive in Chicago to identify and secure new international freight forwarding clients, building a profitable portfolio through strategic prospecting and senior-level relationship management.

You will collaborate with International and Sales teams, develop targeted accounts, negotiate service packages, and drive growth in mid-size FCL, LCL, and airfreight opportunities while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• 5 years of sales experience in global forwarding or international logistics.
• Knowledge of ArcBest services and pricing techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new opportunities for international freight forwarding services.
• Independently prospect, obtain, and develop new accounts with team selling.
• Develop pipeline of prospective international customers to achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate with International Pricing team on pricing for proposals and bids.
• Travel to visit existing, potential and new customers.
• Maintain accurate territory account information and complete monthly sales audits.
