Job summary

ArcBest in Atlanta, GA seeks a Global Forwarding Executive to identify, pursue, and secure new international freight forwarding clients. You will independently prospect, develop accounts, and collaborate with ArcBest teams to tailor pricing and service solutions.

You will build and manage a pipeline of mid-size FCL imports and ongoing LCL/airfreight shipments, while maintaining industry knowledge and strong relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• 5 years' sales experience in global forwarding or international logistics is required.
• Sales experience in international freight forwarding business solutions is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new international freight forwarding opportunities.
• Prospect and develop new accounts using ArcBest techniques and team selling.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline to achieve sales targets with growth and margin objectives.
• Collaborate with International Pricing to develop pricing for proposals and bids.
• Build strong shipper relationships and expand mid-size FCL, LCL, and airfreight volumes.
