Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Fraud Operations Director to lead the Enterprise fraud team and drive the future of global commerce. You will oversee a group that analyzes and detects fraudulent transactions using data-driven techniques and predictive modelling.

You will mentor staff, refine dashboards in Power BI, and collaborate with technical partners at Ravelin to enhance fraud detection. This role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Experience leading teams with coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and Power BI.
• Strong project management with budgets, timelines and priorities.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team responsible for analysing and identifying fraudulent transactions.
• Continuously measure and improve merchant fraud portfolios by reducing false positives while maintaining high detection rates.
• Develop dashboards and Power BI visuals to improve reporting to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Ravelin Technologies to refine the fraud model and prioritize features.
• Develop and execute tactical and strategic plans for fraud prevention using historical data.
• Lead, mentor, hire, train, and manage performance of the processing team.
• Oversee disaster recovery, backups, and cost center budgets to ensure resilience.
