Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Fraud Operations Director to lead the enterprise fraud team. You will oversee analytics-driven detection, optimize portfolios, and drive reporting via Power BI dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of processing operations, administration, controls, and all processing phases.
• Experience leading teams, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Power BI.
• Extensive knowledge of big data handling and projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team responsible for analysing and proactively identifying fraudulent transactions using data-driven techniques, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling.
• Continuously measure and improve merchant fraud portfolios performance through reducing false positives while maintaining high detection rates.
• Manage dashboards and Power BI visuals to improve reporting processes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Ravelin Technologies to refine the fraud model and support evolving techniques.
• Develop and execute tactical and strategic plans for fraud prevention utilizing historic authorization and fraud data.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing processing team including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Oversee disaster recovery, backup processes, and cost center budgets.
