Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Director for Global Forecasting Standards & Training to define forecasting methodology, develop standards, and lead a team delivering training and governance across US, international, and Allergan Aesthetics businesses.

You will influence forecast strategy, drive adoption of best practices, and partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure consistent forecasting execution and capability development worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in pharma/biotech/life sciences in quantitative/analytical roles.
• 10+ years direct forecasting experience with hands-on model development.
• Ability to set direction and drive adoption across a decentralized stakeholder community.
• Deep familiarity with IQVIA TRx/NBRx, 852/867 data sources and their use in decision-making.
• Experience designing and leading training or capability-building programs.
• Strong communication skills, executive presence and analytical storytelling.
• Proven ability to influence without formal authority across cross-functional/cross-cultural environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to challenge business partners and forecasting leadership.

Responsibilities

• Owns the vision and direction for AbbVie's Global Forecasting Standards and best practices across all business units globally.
• Leads documentation and maintenance of forecasting standards reflecting current methodology and business needs.
• Monitors forecasting practices across US, International, and Aesthetics; identifies opportunities for standardization.
• Maintains network of resources to inform continuous improvement of standards and practices.
• Partners with forecasting leaders to ensure standards align with local environments.
• Sets strategic direction for forecasting training curriculum and learning objectives.
• Leads design, development and deployment of training content for onboarding and advanced modules.
• Facilitates access to external training resources to complement internal offerings.
• Manages change management and engagement programs to rollout new standards and tools.
