Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a senior Associate Director in Global Business Development Forecasting to lead forecasts and shape commercial perspectives on opportunity value and risk. You will work across R&D, Commercial, and CBSO, partnering with BD Finance and other stakeholders to inform deal valuation decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of forecasting, market analytics, finance, or life sciences consulting experience in pharma/biotech or related industries.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred; Bachelor's in finance/accounting or business required.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial forecasting, market assessments, scenario analyses, and P&Ls for BD opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop patient-based forecast models, test assumptions, and incorporate epidemiology and market data for a strong commercial view.
• Partner across BD, finance, market access, epidemiology, and leadership to align assumptions and inform deal valuation and governance.
• Translate analyses into executive-ready narratives and decision options for senior leaders and governance forums.
• Advance forecasting capabilities by sharing best practices and improving tools and processes for faster, more audit-ready work.
