Job summary

Skechers U.S.A., Inc. in Manhattan Beach, CA is seeking a Sample Coordinator to manage footwear samples across divisions, coordinate requests and shipments, and keep showrooms stocked with the latest styles.

You will organize showrooms, track sample inflow/outflow, coordinate with Asia offices, and support product and sales teams for events and presentations. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to lift boxes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain assigned division's showrooms multiple times a day.
• Organize showroom walls and audit rooms weekly.
• Add new styles to showroom walls.
• Remove all reduced and dropped styles from showroom walls.
• Ensure that the most up to date and correct sample is placed in the showroom.
• Create table displays of key styles.
• Clean showrooms before and after management and account meetings.
• Lay out new development samples based on management's direction.
• Organize and maintain storage dress shops.
• Oversee samples inflow and outflow of the storage area and follow guidelines.
• Coordinate sample shipments for domestic and international conferences, trade shows, and photo shoots.
• Ensure all new samples arrive on time, and are distributed the same day they arrive.
• Communicate with Asia offices regarding samples ETD.
• Track orders regularly to minimize delays, and work with office services when issues arise.
• Fulfill sample requests and ship them promptly.
• Work with other sample coordinators to manage timelines for packing and shipping.
• Distribute incoming development, fit, national account, and confirmation samples.
• Work with sales reps and product team to coordinate use of rare and keep samples for meetings.
• Work with Digital Imaging to ensure samples are shot and displayed online.
• Dress lace each sample prior.
• Create invoices for samples sent for photography.
• Fulfill all sample requests and provide ETA and tracking information.
• Audit line sheets for correct product information and images.
• Track NA and Sales samples and maintain a log.
• Work with Product Manager for NA/SLS/INA/CAN/AKS samples and order accordingly.
• Print development reports for Merchandisers and VP, track development.
• Monthly rotational sample coordinator duties including invoicing and shipping daily samples to China.
• Distribute mail to recipient desks from mail trays.
• Drive boxes of samples between offices for photography and distribution.
• Lay out production samples for sales reps to be approved by Product and Design teams.
• Cover receptionist desk during lunch.
• Remove office IRA boxes when filled.
• Other duties as assigned.
