Job summary

Skechers is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Coordinator in Manhattan Beach. You will manage footwear samples for a division, maintain showrooms, organize displays, and coordinate shipments for events and shoots. The role requires organization, communication, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include updating sample walls, tracking orders, and collaborating with sales and product teams. Travel between Skechers offices in the area is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Fashion, or Design preferred.
• 1-2 years professional work experience in an office environment or footwear retail experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel and Power Point).
• Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain assigned division’s showrooms multiple times a day.
• Organize showroom walls and audit rooms weekly.
• Add new styles to showroom walls and remove reduced styles.
• Ensure latest sample is placed in showroom and create displays.
• Coordinate sample shipments for domestic and international conferences and trade shows.
• Track sample orders and provide ETA and tracking information.
• Fulfilling sample requests and distributing samples promptly.
