A leading staffing firm is seeking an Operations Control Specialist in New Iberia to oversee global flight-following operations. This role involves monitoring aircraft, filing flight plans, and ensuring compliance with operation manuals. Ideal candidates will have dispatch experience and strong skills in MS Office. The position offers a flexible schedule of 7 on/ 7 off or Monday-Friday with competitive pay between $18 and $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Dispatch experience preferred; aviation background and FAA/NAA Dispatcher Certification is a plus.
• Typing test required, comfortable with multi-line phone systems.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track multiple aircraft throughout global operations.
• File and update flight plans; track aircraft via satellite and radio.
• Maintain communication with flight crews and coordinate with ATC.
• Initiate emergency response procedures when required.
