Prudential Financial, Inc. in Newark, NJ is seeking an Analyst to join the PGIM Fixed Income Bond Operations team.

You will provide middle-office operational support across the global fixed income trade lifecycle, ensuring accurate matching, confirmation, and settlement. You will work with internal teams and external counterparties, gain knowledge of fixed income products, markets, and settlement practices, and operate in a hybrid schedule with three days in the office.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1 to 3 years in middle-office operations or trade support.
• Experience with trade confirmations and settlements preferred; working knowledge of global markets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables; macros a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily operational and technical support for Global Confirmations and Settlements activity.
• Facilitate trade flow by ensuring transactions are matched on industry confirmation platforms, confirmed in internal trade systems, and settled in the market.
• Monitor daily trade-status reporting, including prematching, settlement exceptions, and failed trades.
• Research and resolve trade discrepancies, settlement fails, and claims in partnership with internal teams, custodians, and counterparties.
• Serve as a key liaison between the operations team and external custodian banks, broker-dealers, and other market participants.
• Support settlement activity across U.S. and international depositories, including DTCC, the Federal Reserve, Euroclear, Clearstream, and local market infrastructures.
• Identify and elevate issues that may affect the operational support of global and emerging-market products, and take timely action to reduce risk.
• Analyze activity and key operational metrics to identify trends, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain departmental policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.
• Support local projects, system enhancements, and process-improvement initiatives that strengthen controls, reduce risk, and improve efficiency.
• Provide timely resolution of operational issues raised by critical business partners and communicate status clearly through closure.
• Build effective internal and external relationships to help ensure appropriate service levels for supported funds and portfolios.
• Stay current on industry initiatives, market developments, and settlement trends that may affect the operating model or create opportunities for improvement
