Job summary

PGIM Ireland is seeking an Analyst to provide middle-office support in the Fixed Income Operations team from its Newark, NJ office on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). You will help with trade confirmations, settlements, and controls across U.S. and international depositories.

You will collaborate with custodians, broker-dealers, and internal teams to ensure accurate processing, timely resolutions, and risk mitigation, leveraging Excel and market knowledge to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–3 years of middle-office operations or trade support experience.
• Experience with trade confirmations and settlements preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables); macros a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational and technical support for Global Confirmations and Settlements activity.
• Facilitate trade flow by ensuring transactions are matched on industry confirmation platforms, confirmed in internal trade systems, and settled in the market.
• Monitor daily trade-status reporting, including prematching, settlement exceptions, and failed trades.
• Research and resolve trade discrepancies, settlement fails, and claims with internal teams, custodians, and counterparties.
• Serve as a liaison between the operations team and external custodian banks, broker-dealers, and market participants.
• Support settlement activity across U.S. and international depositories (DTCC, Fed, Euroclear, Clearstream).
• Identify issues affecting operational support and take timely action to reduce risk.
• Analyze activity and operational metrics to identify trends and control gaps.
• Maintain departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
