Job summary

Deel is seeking a Senior Controller to lead global accounting operations across multinational entities, ensuring GAAP/IFRS compliance and scalable financial reporting. You will own policy framework, close processes, and partner with executive finance leadership on strategic initiatives.

You'll drive ERP implementations (NetSuite), strengthen internal controls, and steer audits with external regulators, while mentoring regional controllers and finance managers to support rapid growth and global

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting/controllership experience in multinational environments.
• Deep expertise in GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, audit management, and technical accounting.
• Experience leading enterprise-level accounting initiatives and system implementations (NetSuite highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Own global accounting activities across multi-entity, multi-country operations.
• Provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial statements and statutory reporting.
• Design and implement global accounting policies and internal controls.
• Lead audits with external regulators and coordinate with auditors.
• Drive ERP implementations and process automation initiatives.
• Mentor Controllers and senior accounting staff across regions.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and executive leadership on strategic decisions.
