Openkrill is seeking a Financial & Controlling Specialist to maintain general ledger accuracy, support month-end close, and deliver IFRS/US GAAP financial reporting. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and support AI-enabled finance initiatives.

Hybrid role in Mexico with some U.S. travel; 3–5 years accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree required. Experience in manufacturing/cost accounting preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (degree required; CPA not required).
• 3–5 years of professional accounting experience; experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Experience with SAP, IFRS, US GAAP, and manufacturing/cost accounting preferred; willingness to travel to the U.S. 3–4 times per year.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Perform monthly bank, intercompany, and other reconciliations and assist with month-end close.
• Manage accounts receivable/payable and asset accounting processes.
• Monitor inventory transactions and costing in SAP; support year-end inventory counts.
• Identify process improvements and support SAP initiatives and AI-enabled finance workflows.
