Job summary

SEEK Professionals, LLC seeks a seasoned finance leader to direct global accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and related IT initiatives. You will manage domestic and international teams, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, and partner with FP&A to deliver timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business required.

• Five years of supervisory experience.
• CPA designation.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Domestic and International Accounting Managers and their teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting for U.S. operations and foreign subsidiaries.
• Manage month-end and year-end close with five-business-day target.
• Oversee cost accounting including product costing, COGS and gross margin analysis.
• Manage international financial reporting, intercompany transactions and transfer pricing.
• Oversee consolidated financial reporting and subsidiary reporting packages.
• Lead finance and accounting technology initiatives and GL maintenance.
• Manage global banking relationships, cash management and hedging activities.
• Support acquisitions, due diligence, audits and tax reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and standardize processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain relationships across the organization to safeguard assets.

Job description

You will lead the accounting and finance functions for a global business, overseeing domestic and international accounting, financial reporting, treasury, banking, insurance, and finance-related IT initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead and oversee the Domestic and International Accounting Managers and their teams, providing direction, reviewing work, and supporting professional development.
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting for U.S. operations and foreign subsidiaries, including reconciliations, balance sheet integrity, P&L analysis, inventory, cost accounting, and compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP requirements.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close process, partnering with FP&A to deliver accurate reporting packages and complete financial analysis within the five-business-day close target.
• Oversee cost accounting, including product costing, LIFO, inventory controls, COGS, gross margin analysis, R&D tax credits, and product development projections.
• Manage international financial reporting, subsidiary cash positions, trade receivables, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, tax requirements, corporate documentation, and foreign subsidiary audits.
• Oversee consolidated financial reporting, including contribution margin analysis, COGS and gross margin bridges, P&L variance analysis, and monthly subsidiary reporting packages.
• Lead finance and accounting technology initiatives, including system updates, process improvements, reporting efficiencies, and maintenance of the general ledger and standard chart of accounts.
• Manage global banking relationships, cash management, wire and ACH approvals, hedging activities, excess cash investments, and insurance coverage.
• Support acquisitions, financing transactions, due diligence, audits, tax reporting, ROI analysis, and other strategic financial initiatives.
• Strengthen internal controls, standardize processes, leverage technology, and continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance organization.
• Maintain strong relationships across the organization while ensuring the company's financial assets, products, and customers are appropriately safeguarded.

To be successful in this role you will need a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, at least five years of supervisory experience, and a CPA designation. You will also have strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, and U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements.
