Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a General Ledger Accountant for full-cycle GL responsibilities, including month-end close, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions. The role supports multi-site reporting and process improvements while maintaining US GAAP compliance.

The position is 100% remote from the Philippines with standard full-time hours, requiring strong English communication and analytical skills. You will collaborate with finance leadership and site controllers across locations.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive full-cycle GL accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Experience with ERP systems and US GAAP fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Month-End Close: post entries, accruals, and reclassifications; manage close schedules.
• Account Reconciliation & Variance Analysis: reconcile GL and subledgers; analyze Budget vs Actual and MoM/YoY.
• Multi-Site & Operational Accounting: handle intercompany transactions and asset-related activities.
• Process Improvement & Systems: refine controls and use ERP reports for accuracy.
