BW Packaging is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to install, commission, and service packaging equipment across North America. You’ll diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC issues, while training customer teams and supporting upgrades.

Expect up to 80% travel, hands-on work, and opportunities for growth with a leading packaging solutions provider. You will operate in a fast-paced field service role with a guaranteed 40-hour week plus overtime, comprehensive safety training,

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or related field.
• Strong ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and troubleshoot wiring and I/O.
• Ability to travel up to 80% across North America and internationally.
• Experience commissioning and troubleshooting automated production or packaging equipment.

Responsabilités

• Install and commission new and upgraded equipment and run it to speed and quality targets.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls issues to restore lines quickly.
• Troubleshoot PLC logic and support customers remotely when possible.
• Train customer operators and maintenance teams until they can operate independently.
• Support trials, retrofits, and preventive maintenance; identify opportunities to improve reliability.
