SteelcoBelimed Inc. is seeking a Field Service Manager for Laboratory and Biomedical Research (LAB & BMR) to lead and optimize field service operations across a broad geographic footprint.

The role requires deep knowledge of laboratory and vivarium equipment, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional leadership to drive customer satisfaction and profitability. Travel up to 50% is expected, with residency near an international airport in the Eastern or Central US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within service operations or field service management.
• Experience with autoclaves, washers, or sterilization equipment.
• Knowledge of regulatory/compliance requirements in biomedical research environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; track record of operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize LAB & BMR service operations aligned with global standards.
• Establish scalable models for lab equipment service operations.
• Drive strategic vision for service operations to enhance customer satisfaction and market position.
• Oversee financial performance, revenue growth, and cost control of the LAB & BMR unit.
• Lead field service team with mentorship and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to drive contracts and after-market services.
• Coordinate with healthcare service teams to leverage synergies and improve capabilities.
• Improve first-time fix rates and overall profitability of services.
• Create training guidelines for the field service team to boost technical competency.
• Interface with product line management for FAT/SAT and new product development.
