Job summary

Antares Vision, a global leader in serialization software and machine vision technology, seeks a Field Service Engineer to service clients in the U.S. and North America.

The role requires commuting to the Mount Laurel, NJ office when not traveling and performing installation, validation, and maintenance of Antares Vision equipment. Candidates should have technical schooling or an engineering degree (or equivalent experience), strong MS Office skills, and willingness to travel up to 75% annually.

Qualifications

• Technical School (electrical, mechanical, computer science related), Associates Degree in Engineering OR 2 years of relevant technical/field service experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Must hold a valid passport or acquire one within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Commission machinery for FAT and configure machine vision systems and all related hardware.
• Ensure all devices and controls meet client specifications.
• Perform FAT and validation testing with customers and resolve issues.
• Help set up/configure machinery after arrival to customer site.
• Perform Site Acceptance Test (SAT) procedures and machine testing.
• Travel to support projects (60-75% per year).
• Train customer staff on the new machines.
