Job summary

Viken Detection is seeking a Field Deployment Project Manager to lead customer deployments of security and detection systems at sites worldwide. You will coordinate with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and successful system acceptance.

This role blends project management, field operations, and technical coordination, requiring strong organization, proactive communication, and comfort working in dynamic environments while handling multiple deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in project management for technical deployments and field operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment projects through full lifecycle from kickoff to handoff.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Serve as primary customer-facing project lead.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, and partners.
• Monitor costs and ensure projects stay within budget.
