Job summary

GitLab is hiring a Field CTO at the Principal Solutions Architect level, based in Australia or Singapore. You will lead strategic presales engagements, guiding DevSecOps transformations for senior technical leaders.

Work with regional teams to align roadmaps with customer needs, develop field expertise, and contribute to product strategy. Some travel will be required to drive large engagements and ARR growth.

Qualifications

• CTO/Principal Solutions Architect with enterprise software architecture experience.
• Experience delivering information/cyber security and compliance solutions.
• Strong communication skills from executive to staff engineer.
• Willingness to travel per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with executives to drive large Net ARR deals.
• Provide executive-level thought leadership on strategic opportunities.
• Collaborate with product on roadmap prioritization.
• Grow regional field expertise and enablement content.
• Act as a customer advocate on DevSecOps initiatives.
