Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a Director of Worldwide Field Applications Engineering. You will lead a global FAE organization to drive technical solutions, maximize design wins, and scale expertise across North America, Europe, Japan, and Korea.

Candidates should have 15+ years in FAE, 7+ years in leadership, and proven semiconductor industry experience. Travel 20-30% and strong executive communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, CS, Physics or related field.
• 15+ years in pre- and post-sales Field Applications Engineering.
• 7+ years leading globally distributed technical teams.
• Semiconductor industry experience in automotive/industrial markets.
• Strong communication and executive influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Define operating strategy for the global FAE org aligned with corporate goals.
• Build and mentor a high-performing global FAE team across regions.
• Coordinate resource allocation to support complex multi-regional projects.
• Partner with Product Business Units to align roadmaps with revenue forecasts.
• Lead technical training for sales teams and channel partners.
• Drive cross-region collaboration to accelerate deal closure.
