The Field Application Engineer (FAE) Manger leads the U.S. FAE team in providing technical support before and after sales, helping drive new business opportunities and successfully transitioning customer projects into mass production. This role serves as the technical liaison between customers, the U.S. sales organization, and the engineering teams at the company’s headquarters in Taiwan.

The FAE manager is responsible for overseeing customer technical engagements, mentoring and developing the FAE team, prioritizing technical resources, and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of Flash and DRAM technologies, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of Flash memory, DRAM, embedded systems, and storage technologies.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with BASH scripting.
• Experience working with Virtual Machines.
• Working knowledge of computer architecture and system boot processes.

Preferred Background

• 10+ years of Field Application Engineering or related technical support experience in Flash, DRAM, storage, or embedded systems.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Knowledge of SATA, PCIe, and NVMe standards.
• Experience supporting OEM/ODM customers.
