Analog Devices, Inc. in San Jose, CA, seeks a Senior Field Technical Leader for Consumer Field Applications Engineering.

Based in the San Jose office, you will lead FAEs and coordinate cross-disciplinary efforts to translate customer needs into design activities and revenue growth. You will drive strategic initiatives, mentor a diverse technical team, and partner with Sales, BU, and Product Lines to deliver impactful solutions while traveling up to 25% and upholding high standards of customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 10+ years in product, design, technical marketing or field applications engineering
• Proficiency in analog circuit design at board/system level across diverse applications
• Ability to manage multiple projects and influence customers and leaders
• Willingness to travel up to 20–25% in the US
• U.S. citizenship required
• Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining FAEs or related roles

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical advisor to Consumer Sales leadership and translate strategy into team goals
• Synthesize customer requirements and guide investments to address critical needs
• Collaborate with Business Units to elevate customer voice
• Develop and propose product ideas to fill customer needs
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of FAEs and specialists
• Build relationships with Product Lines, Marketing and Applications teams
• Define best practices, metrics, and execution pathways
• Support field training across FAEs and sales teams
• Recruit and develop FAEs and related roles
• Foster collaboration across the FAE community and customer leaders
