Job summary

JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking an Export Manager to lead the export department and ensure compliant movement of freight out of the country, in line with policy and law.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in export and freight forwarding, supervisory experience, and a solid understanding of international regulations. Travel up to 10% may be required; strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant Export and freight forwarding experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience.
• Master degree in freight forwarding (desirable).
• Knowledge of procedures for international and domestic freight, trucking and warehouse services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop the export department workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Identify problems, analyze root causes, and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with export authorities, customers, and suppliers across countries.
• Lead change initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Ensure staff training and resource availability to perform duties.
